About the Teacher
I have a Pre-Nursing Degree from Hinds Community College. I graduated from Jackson State University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration. As I was pursuing a Master's Degree in Health Education, I began substituting to earn income while attending school. It was during this time, that I discovered a passion and a love for teaching. Hence, I changed my program of study to receive a degree in Master of Arts for Teaching. I am proud to say that I have been in the classroom since that time. I am highly qualified to teach 7-12 General Science, Social Studies, Business Education, Computer Discovery, and Health Education. I have a passion to make a difference in the lives of children and am excited to be a part of what's happening at NMMS.
